There is no shortage of activities or volunteer opportunities to keep residents engaged and entertained, including the Community Club, Friends of the Library, the Garden Club, the Historical Society, and The Gates Mills Players, which is an entirely self-produced theatre group that performs plays and musicals for the whole community to enjoy or get involved in. The MARC, or Mayfield Area Recreation Council, provides a variety of activities and sports for area youth to play, including chess, gymnastics, ice hockey and karate.
